DonaldC=Great guy!!!
I should have posted this as soon as our transaction was complete, but I'm pretty new to the forum and am not 100% familiar with all of the features yet.
DonaldC posted his '84 GSL-SE in the FS forum for $300 a while back. I viewed the forum about a week after it was posted and saw (to my surprise) it was still avaliable. I bombarded him with PM's asking him to call me and posted a reply on the thread hoping to ****** it up before anybody else, and he called me up shortly afterwards, confirming that he still had the car and would throw in a glass sunroof at no additional charge. I was f*ckin' overjoyed!
To make a long story short, I left the town of Pittsburg, PA (where I've been working through the week), traveled home to Ashland, KY (about 4.5 hours), picked my son up from school, rented a Ford F150 and tow dolly from U-haul in Huntington, WV (30 minutes away), and made the five hour trek to Donald's place. We arrived and I inspected the car (being quite skeptical of an actual SE for such a great price), and he had been 100% accurate in his description of the vehicle. We loaded up the SE onto the car dolly and my seven-year-old son and I headed back home. I would highly recommend U-haul's car dollys to anybody-I hardly noticed the car was back there and constantly found myself traveling at speeds you wouldn't dare with most dollys I've used.
Being back in PA this week, I'm wishing I was tearing into this thing right now instead of laying on a hotel bed, but I will first thing tomorrow morning when I make it back home. Thanks for not only the car Donald, but for your time, help, and cooperation!
