I purchased a set of wheels from chillin_rx7_guy way back in January.

Now I paid though paypal but the transaction took money from my bank account and I wanted to pay using good ole' American plastic. I PMed him and asked if he could refund the amount and re-pay using my cc. He kindly refunded and I resent the money.

His communications were always timely and informative. He sent me four tracking numbers for all four wheels.

They finally arrive at the car hugger homestead soon after. I get around to removing the protective packaging which some of it had already been removed courtesy of a "to-remain-nameless" national shipping service... (UPS). Now here's where things take a while. Three of the wheels were damaged, not bad, but I decided to call UPS and place a claim on two of the three as I was confident I could repair the one as they were all going to get powder coated.

I followed all of UPS claims department requirements such as holding on to the wheels and packaging for ten days in case they needed to inspect everything. Two weeks pass and nothing from UPS.

Now this entire time I'm keeping chillin_rx7_guy up to speed. After not hearing anything from UPS I call them and they tell me that they're waiting on the sender to submit forms. I let him know. He tells me that UPS ,via the internet site, on his end has told him he has to do nothing more.

So here's another fine example of a large corporation with flawed systems in place much like the United States Postal Service's supposed "tracking number".

Needless to continue writing more words that may never get read I'll cut to the chase...

After several months ( read as that was January and now this is June) and after much patience waiting for UPS to send the check, chillin_rx7_guy, refunded me half of the cost of the wheels...

OUT OF HIS OWN POCKET!!!!

Now that, my friends, is the most amazing act of a seller I've ever experienced. I am truly appreciative and as some say "Mi casa es su casa", any time that man wants a place to stay in South Florida. (For the foreign language impaired, that translates into "My House is your house"

As I said before his communications were excellent. Any time he knew something he PMed and let me know.

It was a truly noble act and I will never forget. Thank you Mike.

 

Still waiting for the refund check from UPS.... grrrrrr!

 

Finally getting it!!!! Holy moly that was a really long process.
