What should i do about my alternator?

So today, i attempt to unbolt the FD alternator from my S4TII. After disconnecting everything, whats left is the main bolt that runs through the front housing. So i break it loose and start ratcheting away, but it doesn't want to thread out....WTF iv been at this for 5 mins. I look at the rear sleeve on the alternator, its pushed out towards the front of the car and has probably warped the threads in the back, leaving me stumped. Unable to unbolt my stupid alternator.

What should i do?

should i bust out the drill? either way it looks like i will need to unbolt the UIM to get access to the back if i decide to drill the threaded portion of the bolt.

Or are there any suggestions?

ur talking bout the long bolt the alt pivots on right? it supposed to have a nut on the other end of it. if the nut is missing, just pull the bolt out.

hopefully that's what it is! i just moved mine around last night too, figured out there was a bolt on the back, you're talking about the one closer to the bottom that is a little difficult to reach right?
