Transmission won't separate from the block

I'm trying to pull out my transmission to replace the clutch but the transmission will not separate from the block. It is clearly separated from the studs and it can free spin clockwise or counter clockwise but it seems as if it's stuck to the flywheel? I tried to separate them apart with a crowbar, but no luck! I did a search but nothing helpful has come up.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

The easiest thing to do (if you can't figure out the wedge collar) is to remove the pressure plate bolts through the inspection plate (just keep turning it until you get them all).

Thanks

P.S. I used to work on Hondas so this is a different experience.

No problem. It's not uncommon to have a problem the first time separating a pull type clutch. When you learn how to separate the wedge collar, it makes the job very simple.

FD yes. I couldn't figure out the wedge collar. So I removed the 6 bolts. Thanks.
