Unless that's 11 seconds in something shorter than a 1/4 mile... Everything completely stock with the car just as it came out of the factory, no it's not close to 11 seconds in the 1/4.

Also while were here, what does the tach on a 87 rx7 go up to (just the basic model) because the kid at school said he reved his to 15 grand before. I know the rx7 can rev higher then normal engines due to few moving parts.

You should verrify if he meant a completelly stock rx7 or a stock motor rx7. With bolt on modifications and tunning a "Stock" meaning motor and turbos can do 11sec. But completelly stock, its a sports car not a supercar. As far a his car doing 167 or whatever he said thats bull**** its hard enough to do it in a modified rx7 you have to have a lot of power to pull it that far in the rpm's tomake that speed in a decent amount of road. Unless he was driving the salt flats for like 5 min in which his motor would probably blow before he got there.

I'm sure a shift from 5th to 1st at say 150mph could spin that thing to 15k. I just don't want to be there when it happens. Prove him wrong with fact sheets or just ignore him. Thats what I usually do with most bullshitters, just let them talk even if they are wrong, at least they stop talking . . . eventually.
