I have seen SR20DET swaps in an FC and FD but nothing about the longer inline6 RB motors fitting easily into an FC or FD. it would be a tight fit but the FC and FD both have huge trans tunnels, so the RB trans will probably fit without any cutting. if you cant position the oilpan of the RB over the front subframe easily, then you will need to fab your own subframe or modify the stocker, thats not too hard to do. I think there is clearance in the RB oilpan for the steering rack but its not in the right spot to meet the FC/FD steering rack location, since the Skyline/Silvia have the steering rack towards the firewall and the RX7 has it towards the radiator.
anyhow, good luck, I think it would be a major pain in the a@@, especially trying to get the stock twins around the USDM left hand drive steering shaft and making room for the intercooler piping once you have the super long inline6 in the RX7 engine bay.
there is nowhere on the net for you to easily find the answers to your question... besides getting a good up close look at the chassis you want to use and the motor you are thinking about using... but hey, anythign can be built with enough money.
