N3G1 Ecu on N3A1 motor

i recently purchased a super clean low mileage 13b tt. I purchased it thinking it was the jspec n3G1 motor but under close inspection once getting the motor i find out its a N3A1 motor. Now can i utilize the n3g1 ecu on this motor as an upgrade or will i have to purchase the correct ecu?
