how many times and how many forums will you put it up on?
answer - engine bolts in,,, gearbox doesn't,, needs shifter mod,, and needs the right tailshaft length
no nothing else fits ,, asides a dual shaft from a 12a manual rx5
which your never going to find in britain, US or australia , as pretty sure we all have 13b ones,, which run different uni,, and different pinion flange size and pattern
yes,, you can use the entire 13b manual shaft ,, but you will need a 13b diff pinion flange to swap onto your current diff
if you bother to measure the total length of your 3N71B auto gearbox you may note its not the same 806mm the manual gearbox is
PS,, you need peddle box,, clutch slave and master ( s1 rx7 is similar ) and the plastic cabin gearbox surround
you can use s2/3 clutch slave and master ,, as that slave maybe on the box already
be aware s2/3 stuff is different threads to s1 and before stuff
you will need to bridge the valence safety circuit in the old gearbox wiring
( else the starter will not run )

it's a switch that doesn't alow the engine to be started unless the shifter is either in park or neutral. i think it's mounted to the lower part of the shifter itself. probable just 2 wires, just connect them together to bypass it.
