Talking Kart Rotary Engine Tuning

Just started karting. When I saw there is a single rotor kart engine...well I just had to have it Anyway power is pretty good, but torque drops at the higher range. Check the link for pics and info, in the last couple of pages you can see pics of the housing etc. Below 6kRPM the intake goes from the side through the E-shaft/rotor to cool it and the main bearing. Above 6kRPM the intake changes to the peripheral port.

Is there any way to modify the engine for more power? Will the current Dellorto 30 carb be enough for tuning?

Here you can see the dynochart. The Aixro one is virtually the same as the ItalSistem.

Has this engine been tuned already by someone? I can't seem to find any info on the internet about it.

Contact Pettit Racing, they are tuning the Axiro kart engines. I belive they are working on an EFI setup for them as well.
