OR how to hook up manual secondaries

so im a bit new to all this and i have been reading up on striping the nikki. I have removed the aip pump installed plate now im at a stand still cause im not sure how to make the secondaries manually operated can anyone help

that's something that really hard to explain how to do it. how i figured it out is to remove the carb and turn it upside down. work the throttle by hand and look how it moves and what has to be connected together to make them open mechanically. u'll need what's called mechanics wire. don't know how thick it is. when i did mine, i also took a triangle shaped file to cut grooves in areas of the linkages involve to keep the wire from slipping off. just don't twist the wire too tight or it will cause things to bind and not work smoothly. i'll have to look thru some of my junk and see if i might have a throttle plate with this mod that i can take a pic of.

not sure how well u can see the wire, but this is the 2 pieces that need connected to make it work. if u know someone that can tig weld, that would be the best way as it would only take just alittle bit to melt enough to hold it.
