HELP! Throwout bearing/lightened fly...

Hey!

Although I ordered my new rebuilt block WITHOUT a lightened flywheel, Hayes decided to give me one... yeh!!! The only problem is, it won't work with the stock throwout bering.... what is the correct size/part number that I need?

Thanks!

Huh?

A flywheel is a flywheel isn't it? Why won't it work with your throwout bearing?

Brian

The clutch doesn't disengage and the pedal won't pop back with much force. There seems to be play. This flywheel is just a lightened stock flywheel. CAN ANY ONE HELP ME? DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHAT I"M TALKING ABOUT? (do I know what I'm talking about?) hehe

PLEASE HELP ME! I NEED TO DRIVE MY CAR!

Lightened stock?? How did they balance it? (the stock flywheel has the counter balance built in so if you just spin it by itself; ie after machining, it won't be balanced). You don't want an unbalanced flywheel spinning at 7k next to your feet. Also, if it is a stocker, you shouldn't have any problems with the throwout bearing. Check the clutch hydraulics for air.
