Air Horn
#3
I'd recommend running a relay...
You don't mention what kinda car you've got.  I have them on my '87 FC turbo.
The horn leads are normally grounded, but switch to +12VDC when triggered.  I ran the "low" signal from the horn lead to trigger for the relay and grounded that side.  the "high" side of the relay went from battery to + lead on compressor.  The - on compressor is just grounded on the chassis.  My compressor is bolted on the backside of the hood latch - fit perfectly there.  The horns are not hard-mounted, but wire-tied to the relay "rack" in the front nose.

I'm also interested in an air horn set-up. Can anyone recommend one? What does it sound like?
I'm looking for the lambo type horn sound, but I don't know where to look or what to buy and I would like to hear the horn before I buy it.
