85 GSL-SE, just swapped motor no start

Hey guys I'm freaken stumped at this point on whats up. I have looked to see if anyone has had this problem but so far I do not see so. I have an 1985 GSL-SE that the original motor loss compression on the rear rotor so that way I could get back on the road faster I picked up another 85 GSL-SE motor that ran well. Well I have finally completed the swap and at first it acted like it was gonna start but wouldn't fully fire then from me trying so much, I flooded it by accident. I have de-flooded it and the starter will click but will not turn over. Everything looks to be properly plugged and grounded. The motor had good compression on both before I installed it. Now I have yet to bleed the clutch and brakes so I have neither. Where could I have possibly messed up? I want to drive her so bad!! I only got three weeks from the purchase before she has now been sittng since. I'm sorry if this is a beginner question, this is my first rotary and my first motor swap ever.

your clutch interlock may prevent the starter from getting 12 volts..so Bleed the clutch so that the switch on the clutch can engage..
then try to start it.
