12a rebuild thoughts
Guys while I'm doing a 351w install in my sa22 I still have the the stock 12a
I am thinking to look at rebuilding the engine.
Is it a senseable option to build this with the high cost it takes for parts on a rotary
Thanks for your thoughts

the 12A is the easiest engine in the world to rebuild, and its super cheap too.

the RB kit is all of the seals (apex, corner and side) and all the springs and gaskets. you might want to look in the exhaust ports, if it did blow an apex seal, it will probably need a housing, and those are not available new

Hay still new to forums...but I have rebuilt my 12a with just youtube, forums and the manual. (Oem stock build for daily drive) Though the videos probably would made it better
This was a neat tip I used to get my side seals and compression real tight.
I probably have about 3000 miles on the engine so far...and starts up are easy breezy..idles consistent.
Though there always a little voice in the back of my head that's never sure.
I live in the las vegas hot summer desert (avg temp 90/100. Right now temps are 70 avg. So ill see how it handles the real hot
Anyways clearancing my side seal took the most time...everything else just fell gently right into place
Also i used some water jacket heat guards that atkins sells, if you want to use them
