*NEW PRODUCT* FD Stock Twin Cooler Soft Line Kit
We are introducing something that may or may not be needed. We have run into fitment issues in the past with using the stock twin cooler hardlines with our v mount kit and this is the solution we have taken. There are a number of iterations to accommodate for all oil cooler configurations. This kit mounts the lines cleanly and neatly under the intercooler cross mount out of the way of everything.
This kit is available for anyone who has the factory twin coolers AND lines but would like to switch over to a less obtrusive solution with soft lines. The kit adapts directly to the factory lines, mounts using factory mount points, is factory undertray compatible and fits both LHD and RHD. We're not entirely sure the market needs something like this so as of now we don't have any kits on hand. For anyone wanting to purchase, we can make one and have it out in about a week since we don't keep the hose on hand. If there is any sort of demand for this version then we will keep them in stock.
According to our math, there are 6+1 possible oil cooler configurations. The +1 is a complete aftermarket kit and we will be making a kit for all configurations in due time.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the factory hard lines and this is no way an "upgrade". This is simply a solution for those who are in a circumstance where using these makes sense. Please evaluate your situation accordingly. If you are unsure what this will do for you if anything at all, please ask and we will advise.
A step by step install video is being produced to make install a breeze... *spoiler* its really easy.
Made with Parker push lock hose, triple barb push lock fittings, oetiker clamps, mesh loom outer protection heat shrunk in place, adel clamps and stainless hardware.
This version of the kit would be priced at $250 shipped. Payment is not due until your kit is made and ready to ship.

Thank you and that's comforting to hear lol
Doing all the "calculations" and considerations to make this kit universal was in no way an easy task. We usually make these custom for whatever car we're working on so it only works on THAT car in THAT configuration. A universal application seems nice but just looking at the overall market, we can't say there seems to be any kind of need or demand for it honestly.
Hopefully we are wrong and its one of those things that people didn't know they wanted/needed 😅😅

I enjoy coming back to the forum after my many breaks and seeing people making great items for our cars. I have a set of OEM lines for that 2nd oil cooler to add to my touring model. This looks perfect cause I have yet to install it. I’m interested in this item! Ordering instructions?

The lines I ordered arrived this week and packaged securely…initial impression was some high quality workmanship on them, thanks again! Now the hard part, finding the time to do the install, along with my BNR turbos, new secondary injectors and ignition system…gotta beat the 363 rwhp from 2009 dyno

I did something like this several years ago. Once installed the lines buzzed like crazy. Ended up swapping the hard lines back in. Several years later, it was discovered my oil pan was pushed up against the oil intake pipe, and this likely caused the vibrations. I sold my soft line set-up to someone else who had no problem with it.
Just letting you know, in case someone has a similar experience.

We will be assembling a full aftermarket single and twin oil cooler solution. Unpopular opinion but a single 19 row cooler is plenty adequate for a street driven FD and much more economical than a twin kit. It may not look as cool but it definitely works.
2024 we intend to grow our parts catalog tremendously. Please standby....
But to answer your question, we have been using mishimoto oil coolers for a few years with excellent results. Their price and warranty is unmatched. They also come in colors so you can style them better than just choosing between silver or black.

we will be adding this kit to the website this month along with another variant that replaces the stock lines entirely while retaining the stock twin coolers. we have gotten enough requests for them to make it make sense. thank you all again for the continued support

The website has been updated with this kit, updated pricing and new variants. For now, we will use "back in stock requests" as a pre order. we will have 1 version of each variant on hand and when it sells, we will replenish. if and when it becomes a regularly sold item, we will just keep them in stock so people don't have to wait.
