so... how long will it take from the time theyre ordered from wisesports (which i assume will be this monday) to get to the US... and then to have the orderes sorted out and shipped to our personal addresses? reason why im asking is because i just got my kaixen HID kit and the beam pattern looks like **** with the fluted stock lenses. -heath

I would really like to get in on this. I can pay pal the money asap but need some info that I have not seen posted here. I am interested in just the clear lenses. It seems however that the lenses come together complete as housing/lenses. I just finished doing a complete projector retrofit in which I polished the stock lenses as good as I could.

My question is this. Will these lenses fit the stock 3rd gen housing. I do not care whether they are LHD or not. I just want the clear lens to transplant onto my stock housings which now have projectors built in.

I hope this is the case as i am willing to pay the money for the assembly as long as the lens will fit.

Heath,

I'm hesitant to give you a time frame because a large part of the ordering and shipping time is Wise Sports responsibility. Once Ramy and I have the lenses & HID kits here in the states then we will ship them out promptly. Ramy and I of course will keep you updated as things progress, but we can't tell you anything concrete right now.

Mike,

Unfortunately, I won't be able to do get in on this GB. You can take my spot if you want.

Semi-update: I put in the request for the housings and HID kits, got the total, and payment is currently pending (international money transfers take some time). I'll keep you guys updated along the way, as info becomes available.

Thanks

Sorry, not really. I don't like to post when I have nothing to say...cuz I'm not gonna make up non-existant progress lol. But as of now, the e-check is taking longer than expected to clear, both b/c it's international, and b/c of the large amount. WiseSports has been notified of the large order, and they're currently taking steps to ensure availability - I don't think they were expecting such a large order Once I get any real news, I'll be sure to update the thread. In the meantime, your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated.

PS: FYI, just from experience, things happen in Japan a *lot* slower than here in the US lol.

not to be rude, but this is taking a bit too long. Since this is my first group buy, does it usually take this long for all Japan transactions? I have wire funds to Japan all the time and it usually post in a day or so. Is the delay in production? give me something!

Well I can tell you guys that the last time I spoke to Ramy on the phone he had told me that they had told him to "wait a while."

Unfortunately buying in bulk and buying overseas does take a while and believe me if there was something relevant to post, Ramy would have done so. Since Ramy and I have no control over the transaction time all we can do is ask for your patience.

Thanks
Jason

You think this is long? Try to wait for the FEED hood groub buy. It's been since Oct 2005. Be patient with gruob buy. FDNewbie is a good guy, he will come through with it.

Okiboy, in short, when you have this much money, you have an *enormous* responsibility. Wiring money into someone's bank just isn't going to cut it when it comes to security and being responsible w/ others' money. I used an electronic check (which has cleared). Takes longer, but leaves me options in case anything happens.

And as Jason said, I asked them for an update, and they said "please wait a while." lol.

Oh and all you punks...Rob, Dan, Tim...I'm selling your parts to the highest bidder

not to be a nudge... but whats the status of the headlights? its been quite some time, and i havent really heard anything. at this point im almost considering just getting the ebay lights and then doing i dont know what when my wise sports ones come in. at this rate ill NEVER get my HID's installed.

how many sets total did we order? i cant imagine it would take them this long unless they have to start production from scratch, or hand build them all.

Heath,

I'm really sorry...I'm doing the best I can to get a definitive answer from them. We ordered over twenty sets from them. I'm doing everything I possibly can to not just get an answer but to get everyone's parts here ASAP. I wish I had more information to offer, but I really don't.

My sincerest apologies for the delay, and I very much appreciate your extended patience.

Thanks
~Ramy
