Ramy,
My concern is that the Tein's might be too stiff for aftermarket hoods. I know Chuck's would have worked since I have one of his hoods..

Oh and btw, under no circumstances would the damper be too STIFF. That implies that aftermarket hoods are heavier than the OEM hood. You're prob thinking that it might be too STRONG (which it isn't)

Correct! Especially since a Rotary Extreme CF N1 is pretty much irreplaceable...

Ramy,
I am a little wary of the Tein's and aftermarket hoods. I had the Godspeed's (Tein's knockoffs) and they would NOT work with my CF hood. I just couldn't get it closed all the way (slight hump).
If Tein can guarantee fitment for aftermarket hoods, then I am still in. Otherwise, I would like a refund.

Unfortunately, I'm leaning toward the same as the previous two... though I'm going to do some more research before deciding.
On a slightly different note, those brackets look rather flimsy in comparison.... What do we really know about this kit?

You guys should have your refunds now.
rx7sp, you have a pm regarding your refund.
rx7twin, I've made a note so we'll only order 1 set for you and you can use the rest of the funds for something else.
