Turbo manifold questions

Wasn't to sure where to post this, so if it need's moved.

I've been wanting to build a manifold for some time now and have been doing some looking. From what I've found 1.75" to 2" is what most are running the only thing is I can't really go the stainless route due to no mig or tig. Would it be possible to tack it together then take it to a friends shop an use a mig? Not to sure about his tig welding skills esp. with stainless. Also would a 38mm Tial be enough wastegate for a t4 since my friend found one for a heck of a deal?
Burns stainless 1.75 or 1.88 http://www.burnsstainless.com/u-bends-4.aspx
or these, thought I had found that they're sch-40 or so

Most manifolds are sch-10 or 40, if its going to be mig'd up you should go with sch-40, you should be fine with taching it together and having your friend weld it.
