Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy the Dutch RX 7 club because it's so structured and such, but I'm just a member and they have several people that take on the responsibility of making the meets go smoothly and they do a damn good job of it.
Anyway, I guess what I'm trying to get at here is that if you are looking for a club with monthly mailers and large meets and mission statement then this is probably not the club for you. However, if you just really love your car (we are not strickly RX 7) and like to occasionally hang out with other people that do to and maybe go for a nice drive in the country together....then you have come to the right place.
As a side note, I am very intrested in creating a network of RX 7 owners in this area simply to help each other out. It would be nice to have a larger pool of people to pull from when you needed a bearing or a spare hub or a driveshaft, etc. The American guys could help the German guys out by having things shipped to our APO address, therefore avoiding any customs taxes. The German guys could help the American guys out by being able to speak German fluently enough to translate things for us ( this is moslty for me as my German ....well, sucks.). We could help each other out and have more time to enjoy driving the car we love to drive rather than sitting around waiting for that part to come in the mail.
Sorry this is so long, but I just wanted to clarify a few things so we don't come across as something we're not.

hehe k.ronic that`s that what i think what you write...
i`m not a fan of big clubs...you pay money see a few people at one large meeting and haven`t realy contakt with the other members and thats are too anonym i think.
but a big club it must have more activity than my old club with 50 members and only 5 who you meet from club at a meeting.
a small club is perfekt for me i think. theres more friendship and family as in a big club.
we can meet us next days or weeks before its winter and talk a little bit about your club.
that with the litle network of rx7 owners in our area are this what i think...
we have same interests and problems about our cars only different languages.
i can`t speak good english and you can`t speak good german i think...so we can help us to learn the languages better ;-)
i only have few problems with my english i think when i write this lol
we can meet us on saturday or sunday if you want

Btw, out of curiosity....how far are you away from Landstuhl and do you know a girl near there that drives a red RX 7 FC coupe. My mom spotted one today, but I didn't get to see it myself. She said it looked just like my coupe and there was a girl driving it. I would like to meet a female RX 7 owner !!!!!!!

YYYAAAAYYYY! That was a really fun meeting today! Great weather, great people, and great cars!!!!! All in all it was one of the most fun days I've had in a loooong time! After I got all the stupid out of me early in the day (gettin' sideways in Landstuhl!!!!oooppps!!!) everything went very smoothly. We got to go for a really nice drive on a beautiful day and listen to that beautiful rotary exhaust!!! There was even a tunnel, a carnival, and a midget (a human midget, not the car!!). I mean really......what more could you ask for?
And to top it all off, on the way home (not that it's really something to be proud of, but....) I got to race a little Honda Del Sol and absolutly crush him repeatedly untill it was my exit off the autobahn. I even gave him 5 car links on a rolling start at one point, lol! I know it was like crushing an ant, but it was still fun to run circles (literally!!) around him as he's givin' her all she's got in 5th gear, LOL!. In all fairness though...he started it. I didn't pick a fight with him...he was the one that did a blow by on me....
I would especially like to thank Ingo, Fabian, and James for driving all the way to K-town to meet us with their beautiful cars. And I would also like to thank Jason for ...well being Jason! Here's to many more fun meetings!!!!!
