Hey hIGGI and AF1!

How you doin man? I'm about 45 minutes from the Czech boarder. I'm looking for a body shop right now because I need a paint job and it's too expensive here in Germany. Thanks for the invite also. Where in Czech are you located?
AF1- I picked up my FD last December which tooked about 6 weeks also.

Yo, located in Prague. I bet u will find somebody to do paint job or bodywork cheaper in Czech. Its just nothing i would deal with, paint is worst investment in car which is driven :o)
Earlies event is LeMost 9Hour endurance race which will be at racetrack in Most (close to German border - Chemnitz). Few our club members should be at start with 2 or 3 FC's. Rest of us will just hang out around in pits ;o). Date - 25th of March 2006.

Just to clear things up I smoked the 350Z in a almost stock (Downpipe only mod) FC... Lucky for me Higgi sold my buddy Josh a car with one hell of a good engine

Why do you have to wait 6 weeks? I could have helped get you tires here for a good competitive price and you would shave the 16%VAT off of that!! Damn people, use my gifts to your advantage.

Hahaha, i tried to get AF1 to get the tires on the economy too.

Junne whats the status, you got your crap yet? I just picked up my Rtek 2.0, and a bunch of other goodies You will enjoy the view of my taillights for sure

Dude i just finally moved out a little over a week ago. my tires came in, all except the 2 rims/tire combo. so i got the new set for the old rims and 2 new tire/rim from my other order. installed my midpipe, my downpipe is hitting the steering column so i need to cut 2 inches of the first bend and get it welded back on. i already ask my landlord to see if he can do it, but i been to lazy to search for him. the new tires i have for the front works great + the front strut tower bar, im eating up those harpin up and down hill towards my house. The power FC and midpipe gave me 100km more per tank i was amazed. took me 1/4 tank to get to frankfurt to drop some fools off at the airport. just a little over 450 km/tank its a 20 gallon tank i dont know what the gas milage is, but i was getting a little over 300 before. I just order some new coil overs,v mount, injectors, fuel pump. I think im going to keep my breaks stock for now they break good enough. My only issue with the car right now is that the 2nd turbo isnt kicking in. im getting good torque at 2000-4500 rpm. after that my boost drops from +.355 mmhg to -.2xx so above 4500 im runing NA wtf. so right now im at the internet cafe looking up the fix for it. i think its a solenoid or a vacuum hose.

Ahh. Cool. Well on my project The car started up an idled perfect after I cleaned up the carburator needle seat assembly. I just have a few loose ends to tie up this week and the car will be out on the road terrorizing the city. Its really not as loud as I expected for a Bridgeport. I am very happy about that since its going to be my daily driver. I can't wait to meet all you guys. I am definitely looking forward to better weather.

Well good luck with the turbo issue. I'll look around and see what I can find out for you.


BTW... If you want to come up to the Mainz-Kastel autocraft shop we can cut and reweld that downpipe.
Is yours a right hand drive?

yeah mine is a rhd. after getting the primary to spool up my rear rotor blew a seal, this was sunday night. and saturaday morning a semi truck clipped my left side mirror. got that thing to run good for 2 days and a **** load of bad luck happen. now im trying to find the side mirror that flew off on the autobahn.

pretty bad, but it still runs smooth above 1500 rpm, at around idle it runs like it did before i put the pfc in. im going to inspect the plugs to see if there are any metal pieces before i commit to taking the motor apart. it happen in 2nd gear at about 5000 rpm going downhill with no boost or gas. basically i was coasting. i shifted to 3rd adn 4th to cruise up hill and thats when i notice the rough running. im getting no power above 4000 or below 1500. from a dead stop i have to ease off the clutch at around 2000rpm. its sitting in the garage right now and wont be driven until i fix it.

Let me know. I'll come out to assist.

Take out the trailing plugs and count the whooshes. This way we know which seals to get. I should be able to have Kathy send us the stuff within a couple of days.

What year engine?

BTW do not start that engine after the compression test. It may have just cracked or warped one of the seals. If you run it the seal may completely fail and destroy the rest of your goodies. I have leave coming up at the end of the month so my time is your time if you want it.

yeah dude i havent started the thing after the test. the results are, 60,60,100 rear, 100,100,100 front. these are rounded results but the 100s were all above 100, i dont have a quick enough eye to see what it exactly was. i just sight what the gauge read by the number not the indicators. i just got the seals in this week and will be pulling the thing out today.

yup that 60-60-100 is either a corner or an apex seal. Did you pull the motor yet? Let me know. I'll bring beer and the feeler gauges.

Moving to Germany in July. I am an engine builder and tuner. Have installed PFC, Haltech, Microtech and played with AEM and Hydra. Leaving the Savannah Georgia area and will be in country soon.
