Found an Rx-5
It's perfect but the price isn't (over 6000 Euros) !
Still thinking about it.
Would be a nice addition in the garage (if I can get it in ).
Anyone else know/have some old school cars for sale?
I don't have the R100, the Rx-4 and the Rx-5 (yet).

I've seen them cheaper, but not many are around.
Well, Wim, you know me, so don't expect any smart advise from me. I'd say if you have 4000€ to spend, just buy it, the other 2000 will be found somehow (that's how I always do it )
No, serious, if it's in good condition, 6000 euro might be ok, after all, how much does one spend to make a cheap car good again?
Shouldn't be a problem to get in in the garage, just throw some other junk out (or give it to me )

I have made the guy an offer of 5000 a while ago but he is playing it hard.
The car has been fully restored (engine and body) and comes with pictures of the restauration. He must have spend more than 6000...
The problem is there are too many interesting things around these days. I have am currently thinking about buying: this Rx-5, another Rx-5 without engine (parts car), an Rx-3 in very good orginal condition without engine, a 13B Turbo Rx-3, an Rx-3 parts car and an FD parts car.
If I buy this Rx-5, I have to stop dreaming about the other cars (at least for a while).

that's a nice wish list...
My wife would like an RX-2 or RX-3 after seeing them, but she still won't let me buy any other car unless I get rid of some of the other ones. I offered to sell the 626, but she somehow didn't think that was a good idea. However, she did say I should first get the Ro80 restored before I sell the 626, so maybe...
Nevertheless, if you think about the RX-5 being restored costing 6000€ and you are willing to pay 5000€, maybe you should just buy it. That last 1000€ difference is not that much anymore, and if the car is as good as it looks, it's really worth it.
We all know what an engine costs, and I won't even think about body-repairs! A good spray-job can cost half of what the guy asks for the car!

There are only a few Rx5's in Sweden in that condition .. but they are not for sale..
I have got my stockwheels back from sanding and they look very nice..

The cosmo 110S is not on my target list. It was never officially sold in Europe and I have categorised it as "unreachable". (Although I have been calculating when I saw the one on Mobile.de for sale for about 35000 Euros.)
When I sell everything I have now, it would be reachable but then all I have left is a 110S.
If I really want an R100, it will probably have to come from the US too. I have heard that only 3 were sold in Belgium. Many other countries did not even get it.

nobody here will buy wifes online, unless they come with their own RX-7. buying a wife would mean even less money for cars. don't forget women cost way too much to feed, dress...
children are probable even worse...
he could of course start selling useless items such as piston-engined cars etc, his house,...

Of course, I only would buy wife with rotary vehicle, not on foot.
A cavalrist without horse is...aeh, just nothing.
Buying house is also problem, can not take home - that house...
So, leaves pist on cars, Wankel collection items, such a diecast...

of course there's the option of selling yourself too. slavery is said to be on the rise again, so if he'd sell himself to a fellow rotary maniac, he'd be able to buy the RX-5 and work on rotary cars to recieve food.

old school rotaries are so awesome you just have to buy one before you can say you lived I didn't go the Mazda route, because I wanted something really special, but still affordable. So I ended up with a NSU, which will start to see resurection sometime next year.
