You probably don't want one. I just got back from tuning one of the cars equipped with Wolf 3D and the resolution sucks. The manual doesn't explain what and how each items interact with each other. to give you an example. air temp compensation is in terms of % from 0-100%. The % doesn't give you any ideas how much or lean you're adjusting so you pretty much set everything at 50% and adjust it up or down based on your a/f ratio. the resolution is crappy also. Only 8 data points you can adjust. 12%-100% (again). 37%= 0psi. 50%=5-6psi...etc...

They assume everything in linear and it probably works great for N/A application but I really don't see how it would be beneficial to run in forced induction application.

just my .02

LOL. Yes, the old Wolf3D 3.0 is probably better for an NA application. The new Wolf3D 4.0 has top-notch 0.004ms injector resolution, 16 load bands, rpm bands every 125rpm up to 16,000rpm, 3D boost control, and many other advanced features.

Air temperature correction is pretty much linear, as you can see from the temperature lines on this density altitude chart:

Even when considering temperature-induced viscosity changes, the flow rate is still fairly linear:

Yes, Pluto ....resolution really sucked on the Wolf3D !!!
Probably why many wondered how menaged to run it for as long as I did ...did menage 524rwh w/ No Nos which was not too bad.

With big injectors it was either too rich or too lean !!!!
Ignition trigger errors will also break seals and plates when you get plugs mis-firing or simply bad trigger input.

I saw it all

Thats exaclty what was happening (or at least some of the prob) to the car Pluto was tuning (its a friend of mine). What is the deal with the trigger errors and how do you fix that

Make sure the trigger wiring/cable is as far from the alrernator cables, do not ground shielding, use the that green cap as per manual which acts as a filter and good plugs.......and last, make sure the extra teeth not used were grinded to a smooth finish and run teeth close to the magnetic pick up........all this worked for me.

Checkpoint motors in the WOLF retailer on the west coast. If you are not in Checkpoint's service area, they will refer you to the distributor in your area. www.checkpointmotors.net

The wolf 3.1 is better for NA applications, but the 4.0+ is extremely flexible. I have the 3.1 (im selling it soon) but i want the 4.0. Its a very well designed system and i highly reccomend it.
