Rtek 2.0 review needed

Is anyone using or has anyone used the Rtek 2.0 ECU upgrade?

We have a mildly modded (HKS intake, HKS SSQ BOV, Fuel cut defensor, RB full exhaust, HKS Twin Power Ignition, RB race wires w/HKS iridium plugs) 88 T2 (AE). The price is attractive as is the PDA interface (not to mention eliminating AWS and the FCD). We like the fact that you can set it up for the stock primary and secondary injectors and just change it when they are upgraded (albeit to only 720's).

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I did but all of the threads are old (i.e. last year). I am relatively new but I was reluctant to add to a thread that so old, so I decided to create a new one. Perhaps that was not the "correct" thing to do. Too late though. It seems that the posts on those thread were about the impending release of Rtek 2.0 and not about anyone who had actually used it yet.

Yes Mike, I finally found that thread. Your product is very appealing and is moving its way up to the top of my "to do list" now that I see that your turn around is very fast. We have to be running by April 17th to drive the car to a local shop to have the transmission rebuilt. Our car is still stock with 550 primaries and secondaries so Version 2.0 fits the bill. I'm glad that you got the conversions worked in because I would not want to deal with that. Look for our order this week. By the way, can we continue to use the stock fuel pump? What if we bump up to 720 primary and secondary injectors?

When will we get our own subforum? Even though we have been promised by Boostd 7, it hasn't happened yet, see below:

"Would you guys like to have a Rtek 2.0 subforum in the engine management section? The guys from digital tuning have agreed to help with questions ... just not sure if there are enough users to have a forum. But you could share all your maps and tuning tips there."

^ That forum is usless!

When would the N/A Rteck 2 be out? Any estimated date? My engine will be ready this year and want to have the rteck in it to get the most out of the engine.

well since I joined that forum I was going to ask questions on that forum since its on your site. But nope, I have to become a member and own an rtek? kinda stupid if you ask me.
Should have a "non-members" section for the rtek for people wanted to buy it but still have questions.

But thats ok.

Yes, the forum is for customers only so that they don't need to filter all the same questions asked over and over to get to good posts. Nobody likes to see the same thing posted over and over. You'll appreciate it once you are a customer.

We encourage you to send pre-sales questions to sales@pocketlogger.com so that we can deal with you one-on-one.

Just a heads up to anyone on here. I have the Rtek 1.7v and love it. From my experience with Digital Tuning they have always had fast service and put out an excellent product. If you buy a 2.0v and have questions I feel they will do everything they can to be sure you are very satisfied with their product when you are done. There is 2 places I feel comfortable with when it comes down to user freindly bolt ons. That is Digital Tuning and BNR turbos. They both have outstanding customer service, and make it possible for people with limited finanacial resources and or skills to go out and have a good time. The products they put out are awsome. Before I bought my 1.7v I had a few questions and they were always answered with in 1 day. Turn around time on the ECU was also very quick. I just have to say thanks to BNR and Digital Tuning because they have allowed my car to run with and beat a lot stiffer competion with the more expensive and more "high tech" equipment. Anyway done with the rambling I am just gonna have to side with the idea of yes to access the their forum you should have one of the products. It keeps all the "will it" , "what if" and "can I" questions out that get repeated time after time.

That's what we're doing, jumping off of RX7Club.com and over to their forum because it doesn't seem like it is going to happen over here!
