RE-Amemiya REDOM ROM Type-A Tuned Computer
Does anyone in here have any information or experience with a RE-Amemiya REDOM ROM Type-A Tuned Computer. I have a JDM FD on it's way and I am wanting to get a new ECU for it. I'm not planning on doing any major modifications to the car so I am hoping I can get away with using this ecu instead of a Apexi PFC and commander. The price of this ECU is just under $400 shipped to Canada. It is a used ecu. Here is a link to the ECU and a product description of it.

The TYPE-A ROM tune from Amemiya is for fully stock to lightly/mildly modified RX-7`s. If you are aiming for 285hp~310hp with your Rotary Rocket, this ECU can handle it. 285hp is reported with the stock intercooler and 310hp is reported with a 3-ROW front mount intercooler and down pipe. (These specs are with the catalitic converter)
The boost levels on this unit are set at .6~.7 at low .8~.9 at high under 4500rpm and .6~.7 at low .75~.85 at high at over 4500rpm. The boost limiter at above 5500rpm is set at .9 bar and the rev limiter has been raised to 8200rpm. In addition the secondary turbo will engage at 4450rpm.
Any info is greatly appretiated.
Thanks.
