I'm going to be playing around with megasquirt Fuel controler in my S5 N/A second gen and I don't want to hack up my current harness, I wanted to know if there is a male interface that will plug up into the stock wiring harness so that I can make a custom harness for both Stock ECU and megasquirt, stock ECU will control spark. I want to be able to just plug up the stock ecu if need be.

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a hold of a male interface to plug up into the stock harness. I was thinking of just braking open a S5 ECU and pulling the interface out of there and just solder the cables onto that.. but cheapest ecu I can get a hold of right now is 25$ and doing it this way might be a bit messy.

I tried contacting haltech to see if they sell there harness alone, but waiting on a reply.

So if anyone has any information on where I could get a hold a male interface, of even what car uses the same interface on its ecu, or any ideas on what I could do. Just type away.

 

Get the $25 ECU - that's about how much a brand new header plug is going to cost you anyways.
