Did you ever heard that Knight Sport reprogram the stock ECU??
I talked with some Japaneese people, and it look to be very good modification for srteet use, better of the Power FC they said.
What can you tell me about???

I can't give you the specifics on it but I have one in my 91 na. The difference is unbelievable! I think it changes the timing through out the power band and it raises the rpm limiter. I would guess it very closes to the one offered by MD in Florida.
If someone knows all the specs I'd be interested. I haven't checked for sure but I do believe that it's just an eprom and if that's the case it seems like someone could make copies of it.

Just to Update this thread, i used Knight sports ECU for few yeras, is fantastic, i'm vary happy of it and Knight sports stuff are very professional.

I don't think there is any place to get them aside from eBay or straight from KS.

yes they have an s5 ECU. my friend used to have one in his turbo vert, but he sold it.

I use to run this ECU i got form RHDjapan before i got the PFC. it is indeed a good ECU for a full stock FD with basic mods like intake/exaust/SMIC depending on what it is program'd for. But the down side is unless your car is there in japan, the setup isn't tuned exactly to your car, including a/fand ignition timing... not only that, but also gas octane in japan is also a lot higher than U.S. i'm not sure what's available in Italy

therefore, the ignition timing is a lot more aggressive

the tuning won't be exactly perfect for any car other than the original owner, where PFC is re-programable.. so you can have a reputable tuner to set the ECU to the exact setup of your car
