Innovate DB LC-1 any good.

Seems like they have a good deal on that wideband, just wondering if anyone else has it or has had any problems.

I have an LC-1. Just installed it not too long ago. Don't have the DB gauge though (I connected mine to a datalogit) and haven't had a chance to compare its output to any others. Installation was pretty straight forward and the output feels accurate (aka: doesn't look like completely bogus numbers and is in line with what I would expect).

I guess that isn't a very helpful review huh? LOL

I just finished my LC-1 install last night. I also did not opt to get their gauge. I will be wiring mine into the datalogit and currently have it as the aux input on my TurboXS DTEC BC. Works great. Back when the LM-1 first came out, I was very impressed by innovative's design and community involvement (with subarus). Based on the experience of people I have talked to, this unit is very well designed and solid. The documentation is well produced and clear. Operation is dead simple. The kit includes everything you need (the sensor even already has anti-seize on the threading). I wouldn't run any other wideband.

Two warnings:

The heater in the o2 sensor could draw up to 5A according to the documentation so be careful where you wire it. Make sure you put it on a switched circuit or create a new circuit with a relay (thats what I did).

For optimal results you will need it farther down the exhaust than the stock o2 sensor location (but remember to keep it before the cat). I mounted mine about 3 inches from the end of my downpipe. There is a ton of room there between the tranny and the body.

I use a LC-1 and no real problems. I have it hooked up to a gauge and the datalogit.

FYI ebay has the same kit for cheaper

if you are hooking it up to a datalogit it can be sensitive to the way your grounds are installed. I have the LC-1 with XD-16 gauge. It is more expensive but the XD-16 can display error codes and operate the calibration function without having to wire in an LED and switch.
