Electromotive vrs. Haltech
I have being hearing for quite a long time that electromotive is a very good option when you want to change your computer, but does anybody out there is using it and if so can you tell me what it can do?

The TEC II does both fuel and ignition, but it comes with it's own ignition system. The ignition is very powerful, and doesn't require 3 MSD's like when you go with a Haltech. You don't use the stock oils, and you have to make spark plug wires. The TEC II will control your knock sensor, but that's not worth bothering with. The Haltech is much easier to install, and there's more support. You won't have to fabricate an ignition pickup wheel etc. You should check out their web site and get a catalog. You can even download the manual. I have a TEC II, but I haven't worked the bugs out yet. When I have the time I'll get it running right.
