Choosing ECU need some input!

Stressing out, dont know what ECU to buy. I just sold my Lt8 (microtech) and im just mind boggled. Options i was looking at:

Microtech LT10

Haltech ps1000

Aem

*The main reason for these choices- ALL VERY COMMON, LOTS OF INFO AVAIL.*

Microtech, its simple, works great, very reliable... Bad, the damn software is so out dated and you cannot save diff maps, and loging things is another story.

Haltech, It is very user friendly, most common can log few things. Bad... they always like to detect somthing thats not there.

Aem, Many things you can do, has good knock setup, all around good. Bad....not as user friendly.

I am familiar with all 3 ECU's. What i would like to have:

Log 2 EGTS
Log fuel press
Log a few more things that i can't think of atm lol.

OPINIONS PLEASE!!!!!

If you are having someone tune your car go with the ECU he is most familiar with. If you are tuning yourself i say Haltech. I have one so i'm leading that direction. My haltech has never detected something that wasn't there. The only problem i did have with it was it would disconnect from my laptop under load.

Figured out it was just a bad USB cable but one of my dyno seasons was a bust since the dam thing wouldn't stay connected.

It has 4 AV inputs so 2 egt's 1 fps and you have 1 left. The PS2000 has 8 av inputs so a little more option there.

Why did you sell the LT8?

If your tuner is doing all the work, then what do you care about user friendliness and datalogging? Just drop the car off at the tuner and pick it up when it is tuned. How the tuner gets there is his problem. What does the tuner recommend?

i sold it because it will not log everything i want. Although a tuner may be tuning it, i still want to know everything about the ecu, how everything is ran on it ect ect. If i have a problem at the race track i would like to know how to address it. I do not get plug & Play harnesses, i wire the car myself so before the tune i have to get some miles on it and make sure everything is working as it should.

Im leaning towared AEM, BUT theres so little info about it being installed in FC's

Why not use the microtech and add a racepak to log whatever it is you want to log?

It looks like the racepaks are just as expensive as a new ecu. Selling my old ecu got me a very good start on buying the new one.
