ImageShack.us here my setup. sorry its dirty from the mud and track days ]. i have it the lift so happen to take pics i believe subaru impreza tie rods are interchangable 93-05. its been awhile. so it fits perfect in the rack and the outer fits perfect with s13 outers. i only done this as my friend did a mod with extension of lower ball joints. thanks. sorry been busy. any questions lmk. or more pics lmk. |
So in this picture you have '93-'05 Subaru Impreza inner tie rods and factory S13 outer tie rods. That is an extended ball joint as well? Kind of hard to see.
How's the bumpsteer? When on the ground, are the rod and the joint angles still pretty good? Thanks, Andrew |
Yes the ball joint is extended.
My spindles are still stock. At full lock nothing hits I use a 1 inch spacer so the tie rods are long enough to where the rack max out and have plenty of room. The rod angles are still decent I would say but my car is really low and I haven't corrected much yet. I have to remake the ball joints extension by maybe half an inch so less of an angle for better correction. And less adjust for neg camber. As the adjust right now is -2 to -8 camber in front.
