I'm working on a first gen right now that I'd like to be able to take to drift days and maybe even do events with eventually.

I've seen a few guys running them, and I know most of the cars are TII powered. I'm just curious what kind of suspension you first gen guys are running. I'm planning on getting camber kits and springs from RE-Speed as well as all new bushings. Going with Tokico Illumina struts, and I haven't done enough research on sway bars to know what to get yet.

Is all this good, or are you guys running something more suitable for getting sideways. The only experience I have with drifting a 1st gen was on a bone stock SA I had some years ago. It was easy enough to handle, but I'm looking for performance well beyond just stock setup on this new car.

You will be happy with the respeed stuff, 400lb front springs and 250-275lb rear make for a nice predictable car. If you are lowering it at all then roll center spacers for the front and a tri-link/panhard in the rear. The stock rear suspension sucks at anything other than stock ride height due to unequal length 4 link bars and offset watts link.
