UK DRIFT BUILD: FlikstRR’s Team Green / Demon Road Rx7 FC

Rather than just copy paste from my main build thread, can I ask you to check the link out if you wish to follow the build. Driftworks allows more images and it breaks up nicely, This site only allows 12 per post and is gonna be a nightmare...

Its a UK Rx7 FC Turbo2..

http://www.driftworks.com/forum/drif...ad-rx7-fc.html

Theres going to be a pretty big USDM influence on it so would appreciate your input and constructive comments crits...

cheers.
Phil

I really dont have much to say other than "GREAT BUILD".

Similar to what i want in terms of aero. GP, overs, reverse vent hood......

Were u able to dial out the toe from using extended tie rods with the mazdatrix spacers?

yeah, but it is pretty much at its limit.. theres still enough thread to be safe, dont mis-understand, just not a ton of room for adjustment. however 0 toe on the fornt so its good to go.

thanks for the comments guys.

haha If you want the Eurolight center Im sure I can post it your way dude.. I assume that the same reason mines goin JDM/USDM.. to be different?? lol

3 weeks from basic with no engine to where she is now. Really happy, but not at the end yet at all!

Glad to know you were able to get rid of the toe.

You're talking about the thread on the tie rod ends themselves, not the spacers, correct?

I think i may do this vs getting my knuckles modded next year. I just want to see how i do and how much progress i make with just your basic tie rod/tie rod end angle kit....... Sent my money out today for some rods! Yeah-yeah's. I bow down to the lock you have on your fc.

looks like good quality work!!!

not diggin the fn's. looks like you have some money to invest into this so pick up some baller wheels. gp sports is a hard kit to pull off, looks like **** without proper fitment and ride height

dont listen to those guys lol

17x8, 17x9 is not baller status

you need 17x9.5 18x10-12 and low offsets obviously. your doing a over fender in the rear right? whats the size on it, and also size on new front fenders also.

its not hard finding cool wheels. im sure people here will ship as long as you pay for it. or get em from japan?

kits on and painted all though raaaaaaather cheaply so its not the best.. the end result is still kinda secret till the weekend as we are waiting for another of my team mates cars to be finished.

sufficewd to say its not the shade i wanted... its a little.. 'bright'

anyway that was sunday, since then I've had a crappy time with hydros, and got me some 17x9j dish and 17x10j dish. although even after the arch work the 10s scrub slightly but this might be down to a lack of preload and dampening.

I just read all 14pages. awesome build. I love your masking idea for inetior paint, dont mind if I use that idea too ahahaha.

looking good, man, its almost done.. just needs suspension work , and engine, and it will be pro status!!!

did you have any problems with your rear camber alignment? mine was off like crazy left and right were totally different.. just wondering.
