I told you soooo. It looks great, same as mine, I can tell. What inner spacers are you running now? And what offset on that 9.5? Did you just use my specs?
yeah, i had some questions/wanted to talk about it. u still in HI?

i'm running 22mm spacers with a 9.5+12 so effectively 9.5 -10

i think i'm gonna add another 3mm spacer, i'm still rubbing slightly on the frame rails. i think a 9in wheel would probably work better, but.. well... yeah.... 9" wheel. maybe eventually.. i'm working on this whole "race car" thing.. it's hard giving up stretch and looks for performance, but i'm really working on it.

i'm running 30mm shine "foresight" fenders. i definitely think making the car a little wider improves the drifting capabilities of the FC.

can you snap a pic from the top looking down... i want to see how much is gained from a smaller wheel.

Ill take one tomorrow! Its dark here, allready. I have 50mm spacers up front to make my rims work but i got 1/2inch of tire outside of the fender. Doesnt look good and it rubbs. i need wider fenders. This is alittle Off topic but what do you think about making the lower arm(cant find the correct english name for it) longer so i can skip the 50mm spacer? Spacers makes the wheel move to much and it rubs easier.

iono evergreen doesn't really require much angle except maybe coming off the bank and maybe the last turn depending on how close to the wall it is, but you should be able to throw it a lot more sideways at least.

you damn formula d bastards are taking away our normal evergreen drift day.. was supposed to be thursday our day, friday you're practice, but now your practice is on thursday yea? or are you practicing thursday and friday?

i think u mean adjustable roll center.. like on the corolla's.. if you're running the early model 86-88 front control arms, i think it would be pretty easy to weld on the ball joint adapter to make it longer.. just a thought..

i added another 3mm spacer today, and double checked the offset.. i'm now at -15 with the 9.5" wheel

i also removed a extra spacer i had and re-aligned.. it's amazingly close both front and rear now at full lock.. but doesn't seem to rub.. it's absolutely maxed out now!!!

i'm hoping on the right to left hand flip where we'll be facing the stands i can throw it backwards.. lol well not really but a lot more than before..

i'll be up there tuesday night i think... hopefully practice on wed if it's available.. then on thursday and friday.. i'm really pushing to do well this event.. i need to get seeded again..

Then you'll just have to find out how to adjust out the massive amount of negative camber you just created. Best way to eliminate the 50mm spacers is to buy wheels with 50mm less offset.

Linda, whats pricing looking like for PG spindles vs PBM spindles? ive got a source local for RYO spindles for fc and s13 but the wait is a few months and they run around $550, yours or PBMS would be alot better, cores in hand.

with my car, haruguchi knuckles and supernow spacers... 9.5 -10 wouldnt come close to clearing the swaybar and lca..

i had 17x9 -7 with 215/45s and the lip of the wheel itself used to rub on the swaybar one way and on the lca the otherway...

i had some pretty whacky castor setup though and around -3.5 camber

the amounts of lock you could get though was amazing, absolulety mind blowing...

PBM ones are more of in the thought process of "should we" "would it be worth it"

what started out as me recording some footage to take screenshots of JTP's new angle, ended up becoming a little teaser of what happened yesterday.

local amateurs got to tango with the pros. epic.

anyways, here's the video, check out JTP's angle.. he didn't even go full lock in this one.

does anybody run with 18s all around? how much max angle can we get with 18s in the front? I know its not as much as 17s, but anybody doing it? It would lOOKK SICK compared to the staggered setup

i just traded my 17s for a set of 18s, In the front im running 18x8.5 with 225/40/18s and offset is +35 with a 10mm spacer so its at +25 offset and I noticed it significantly took away alot of my angle It looks like it brought me back to stock angle. I used to run 17x9 225 /40/17 with +25 offset in front, but yeah moving to 18s take away the angle, damn.... I need bigger spacers and fenders in the front get it to neg. offset. I have pulled/rolled stock front fenders...

dude only a +25 offset is whats killing your angle not the fact that they are 18s

so i have a couple questions for you pro or high level drifters about this mod, i figure you guys would be the ones to talk to. sound advice needed.

will it effect my toe in/out and make my 7 not so much a daily driver w/o major tire wear?

would it be better to start with this mod over Mazdatrix steering angle kit? cost vs immediate performance for my level of driving.

i'm still NA and on a budget because i'm attending UTI so i have to choose my upgrades wisely. i don't wanna spend the money on something that won't help me at my current skill level, amateur. i hit lock occasionally but i don't have enough power or maybe skill to keep my speed up at that angle. so if this is only for super angle i'll most likely pass and get the steering angle kit from Mazdatrix. or would it be better to go a different route?
