im getting real close to painting this ****.

im going with a gallon on the DBC 500 with 4 oz. of pearls and other ****. its gonna pop for sure.

looks like im going to shoot the two tone purps with the body color, then DA the clear with 320 or some ****, then shoot 2 or 3 coats of the pearl.

ill update with pics.

 

Exactly jus spray the pearl on when the base is raw
with an inter-coat clear, plus 320 is way to coarse like slide said
when I do any work over existing clear I always just hit it up wit 600 wet or dry
your just going to **** **** up with 320 and if your not careful with it your going to sand thru

I have never spray pearls over a clear, i know wet sanding comes out super smooth, but ive used 320 with the da over a cleared test panel, then pearl. it came out super smooth, but i can see how the pearls can be affected by too rough a surface. im gonna wet sand for sure. i

i figured i would spray the car with no over fenders, then match them when i get them


corey, i have alot of product, all you need is reducer and the base coat which should be around $200. depends on what product. DBC cost more than MBC if you use PPG. Chromabase looks bad ***.

just got the AEM wideband. its tuned and smashing hard for stock turbo. im actually running out of fuel and i have -6 from the filter to the rails. also have 550 primary and 720 secondary. its got a solid tune, im really happy with it







i finally have a booth that i can take it to. so sick its actually gonna be free as well. so as soon as i find out what rear overfender to order, install it, then prime and head to the booth.


so are the 50mm origins nice? they look like they extend over the rear you know where the hatch is? they also dont go under the side skirt and rear bumper...

do 30s dude, flem em out if you need to, but the 50s look way too angular.

 

Yeah I got 30s bowed a little, bmagics also extend down past the moldings I cut mine above the molds, jus painted it today looks fresh. I'll post pics tomorrow

paint isnt too far away. ive been bustin *** on the fc. i gotta get some pics up for sure. i did the dash up and it looks dope. made some new angle mods and they are ****** too much angle

spinnin 275's or 285's stock turbo haha. its all in the tune
