Looking through these pages reminded me of why I do not own an RX-7 anymore.

Take off your sway bars, buy coilovers, get a crush bent 2.5" cat-back, hollow out your cats, go hit something.

Let sit for 2 years at 750 degrees and Viola! You still can't have fun!

yeah but i need yo fix mine cuz i have a feeling my 5/6 ports arnt workin propperly in my high rpm cuz im losing so much pressure through the gap in my system. what differential are you guys using? i have an s4 base, but my tranny gave out, so i replaced it with an s5 tranny from the parts yard, and when i was there i found an 86 gtu, and pulled the lsd from that one, it works great for me

If you use a welded you will most likely break your front Diff mount. It happened to mine and a few friends. You should install a pinion snubber. It is a cone shaped polyurethane bushing with a piece of all-thread sticking out of he back. You drill a hole and install it so it will absorb the movement of the diff up front. I think Earl did on his truck and he might have pics. Also, if you do not have DTSS a welded will really accelerate the wearing of your toe bushings and make **** really sloppy.

For a fact it will not, he's just attributing his problems to the welded when they are unrelated.

thats what i figured. all my friends run welded in their 240's daily with no problems other than increased tire wear

A TII hood will DECREASE your cooling efficiency.

wouldnt increased air flow over the motor help cooling? are you talking about increased pressure in the engine bay being capped by an na hood? if anything that would increase engine temps... simple physics, unless ther's some wierd thing you have come up with, then please enlighten us
