Oh yeah should be.. I've heard the main link will fix a lot. I have solid sub frame bushings and spherical rear lcas.. apparently that doesn't like having the main rod tweakin the sub frame Lol

I try to keep 0 toe front and rear. ALot of guys like tow out up front. and tow in in the rear. I dont drive much so 0 is what i always use.

camber in the rear is set at 0. and front is a ton. I dont know what. lol
again I dont drive much so i use whatever the car has had before.

I always thought I would start at zero then make adjustments until I found what worked best. but usually break pretty quick. so no adjustments ever get made.

Yeah guess I got lucky this weekend.. only a busted coolant line.. which killed the alternator.. and my battery died.. but I murdered some tires and all the metal bits didn't get crunched Lol.

My alignment was fine.. wouldn't say it hindered me in any substantial way. The track is an asphalt/concrete oval.. so the transition off the banking was tricky.

Anybody have any insight into that? Soften up the dampers? Raise the car up some..... ewww Lol

Had some questions about extending FLCA's. I have some modified knuckles and it just wont clear. Im looking to notch the lca and also extend it out a little bit for some more camber/clearance. How much have people extended them and how much more camber can you squeeze out of say an inch of extension?

Has anyone ever used a strut and coil/spring combo? Like properly valved struts and stiff springs? Like in my other thread I'm looking to replace my Teins, and some of my auto-x (all suspension nerds) mentioned this idea...

This is exactly what I'm going with. I've tried it with a little tow out in front hoping for quicker turn in but really all it does is make the car feel unstable.

There's so many cheap options these days I would definitely go with a coilover... I mean BC, Fortune auto, Megan etc.. are all the same thing basically... and they work pretty decent.. you can always get one of these and have Odi @ Fealsuspension revalve and add swift springs to them to make them even better... If I didn't have DG-5's I would go this route..

I agree... keep the toe around 0 maybe tops 1/16 out... but I prefer 0 for FC since it already rotates fast as it is.. (compared to the mustang)
adding toe in on the rear will give some more forward bit as well if that's what you're looking for.

Don't get me wrong I'm all for coilovers, this was just something that someone had mentioned. The springs would be the same spring rates (8/6) and the struts would be valved accordingly. Just a thought.

I'm looking at Fortune Auto 500s w/SWIFT springs or PSM PROS.

the biggest problem I see is not being able to corner weight the car later on if you so needed...

I personally think corner balancing is super important to making the car feel neutral... It's definitely made a big difference on anything I've driven.

Well I guess it's moot, I went with the fortune autos. Should have been here yesterday but they didn't have the swift springs in stock.

I haven't seen them on an FC yet so I'll probably post up pictures and a review.

What do you guys run for damping on coilovers? I had an event today, and I think I had my rear set at like 10 and front at like 14 (0 is full soft and 24 being max stiff).
