SPECS!?!?!?! NA as in Bridge port, peripheral port etc.? or NA as in Stock 6port block?!

airquin23 03-20-13 12:38 AM

NA, I believe it is still a 6 port not sure what my builder did I trust him and he wouldn't tell me lol, Large streetport, headers to resonator, to 2 1/4 exhaust, to sweet muffler, k&n filter, throttle body mod, safc2, no p/s, a/c, smog. Nothing too crazy.

Derek King 03-20-13 11:29 AM

I want vids of that thing in action

airquin23: how much power are you pushing? i was planing on doing something along the same lines just so i can improve my driving

fcrotory 03-21-13 01:59 AM

Nice driving Airquin!

airquin23 03-21-13 10:28 PM

Thanks fcrotory!

slowgxl: I think I am pushing around 150 to the wheels. I got my last motor dyno'd when it had a blown coolant seal and that is where it was at. I still have to dyno this motor.

Your killing it this yr Andrew! It was nice to see FC vs RX8 in the finals of D1NZ. Rotary vs v8 was exciting. I personally think your FC is the best handling car in the D1NZ series. Keep up the good work!

beachFC 03-24-13 09:25 PM

Arquin! you are my hero hahaha

why not go T2 though man? You could've for sure bought a running t2 swap for the price of a full rebuild. Just wondering what kept you NA?

airquin23 03-24-13 11:42 PM

Haha thanks beachFC!
NA was just easier at the time, Going t2 would mean I'd have to buy the tranny, driveshaft, axles and diff also. Did not want to do all that. At the same time I truly enjoy driving a NA motor. The simplicity of it is fantastic. Plus this thing rips! The rebuild of my NA was definitely not as much as a running t2 swap. Who knows how much longer I stay NA but for now it works, I think there is a little bit more I can get out of this motor. So until then it stays. :) After that I have a rew on standby...

Do you have any numbers for your NA?

mannykiller 03-26-13 01:10 PM

What up man! is the rx8 really that "fast?" how was it following? leading?!!

mannykiller 03-26-13 01:11 PM

P.s.....how SICK is the little plume of smoke on the first pic on the lock up rear tire?!

mothdawg 03-30-13 01:25 PM
