In -car -I was kinda all over the place -parked it on the last corner.

Alignment needs some major work -the car was twitchy as hell.

At first I thought that was Miro in the car with you...but then remembered he has a white helmet.

Looking good man. esp for the first time out with all that power.

Thanks man -a real alignment and some caster and I should be much better.

you must be way tall, or have a cage like mine. looks like you could die on side impact.

I'm a little over 6ft

Problem is the FC roof has a fucked up shape -there really is no other way to do the cage -my halo bars are literally touching the roof -and my seat is solid mounted ON the floor.

Looks like its time for a vert.

Yay! Drift at 2 mph. Awesome.

Cool music in the first vid

driftfcbuckey 05-11-11 07:16 AM

it just seems like a low main hoop, or off bent front down bars. my cage sucks, bad, and it's above the spot yours is. i'm 5'9 and my head hits it with my helmet on. i know from where my a piller bar (or in your case, halo) is that there's still 3" of space to go up. even your front cross bar seems low looking into the window.

slow motion on already slow driving.. do not want

It's a small go-kart track, what do you expect? Atleast we're out there doing it somewhere safe and not a bunch of dumbass parking lot drifters or going on public roads putting innocent people at risk.

driftfcbuckey 05-12-11 04:11 AM

you can get pretty buck wild in some parking lots, or on the streets.

I'm a fan.

Tons of Left footing, and billows of smoke.

Zenki FC3S 05-12-11 05:32 AM

Haha I've been on several tracks here. Look thru the pages.

Back in '08 I was na and driving faster than that on a go kart track.

theres nothing wrong with drifting in a parking lot, not exactly legal but there is noone you can hurt except for yourself. I have to admit that i do it every once in awhile just for kicks and maybe in a rainy day around a corner on an empty street. I mean you know what they say about if your not caught its not illegal

i will agree though that id rather be at the track cuz im tired of paying tickets

i wasnt knocking it. it was wet and tight, makes for some really smooth driving. just was commenting on the slo mo and its lack of appeal to me. the pics i posted right above your vid was on a pretty slow track. had a hard time keeping the fd in its power band in 2nd gear, tight.

leftcoastdrifter 05-12-11 09:47 PM

PARC is a technical track and not a super speedway. It has tight 180's, small banks, decreasing or increasing radius corners depending on the way you run it, and rumble strips that have claimed many wheels, body kits and fuel lines. I love it because even a stock 86 w/suspension can hang with "built" S13's, S14's, FC's and R33 GTST's given the right driver. The smoke will come when it's dry out, but as it was we had rain in the morning, hail in the afternoon and more rain in the evening. I'm not God so what are you gonna do?
