I'm sure this has been said....
1. MUST have an LSD prefer Kazz 2-way or a Tomei
2.GOOD coilovers, Stance, Silkroads, ect
3. TOUGH *** clutch
IMO this is the basics to get started... The better diff and coils will make the car more predictable when you kick it out and easier to learn to control slide.
clutch because your going to be SERIOUSLY abusing it.
I have found a good teqnique for the FC is "Faint" drifting.

So cheap wheels for the rear. Need suggestions since stockies dont really offer that much traction it seems (from what people are posting). Im looking at like MB Wheels, Stock S14s and GTR wheels. Looking for a 16 or 17 inch. Probably a 7 or 8 inch with. Preferably a good offset that won't have to be spaced out like FD wheels.

dude your ******* NA you cant have grip . run ******* 5 inch wide rims if you can. all these guys saying you need grip in an na rx7 are retarded as ****, ya worry about grip when you are running 300 plus horse power then start running some 17 or 18 10 inch wide 275s and you can have grip. i drifted a a turbo fc all last year on 215 45 17s stretched on a 9 inch rim and that was still too much grip for a slightly modid turbo fc..

When you get the basics down or you start spinning alot up your tire choice to a better tire. You need to think about a good tire for the front as well you need to keep a decent balance between the two.
I do think 215's on a turbo fc is too small but again it depends on what surface and tire you are using. I use a 235 40 on 9 inch rim. I could go up a bigger size tire but I can do pretty much whatever I want by changing the tire. Normally use st115s in rear and S03 in the front sometimes use 203's all the way around. I make about 370rwhp

I saw that. I mite head up. Dunno yet tho. Seems like fun, but that is ALOT o miles to drive my FC up. Its not the most comfortable ride for a long trip. lol.
Ya, as long as I dont have to work Saturday, we can go put em on over my Girls house. She lives in Whitehall, right off Rt 51. start like 9 AM and hopefully get it all done by1 or 2.

Ok, I hear ya. Just PM me the address and I'll mapquest it.
I think Im gonna wait on the wheels (got a bit to excited at that offer lol), cause Im not sure how my funds are gonna be after I get the bill for the parts. But if you can hold on to them for me a bit, I could do 350-400+ or so and pick-up, Either at Beaver Run or I'll just stop by one day. Let me know.

though i dont normally agree with fc drifters highly opinionated answers hes definately right. if your suspension is set up right then you dont need the power to initiate. the other thing is learning how to drive. no offense not saying you cant drive but rx7s more than any other car need to be learned. becasue there driveline is so much closer in on the chassis its easier to over steer and harder to initiate in the first place. just keep working at it and get some suspension.
