i love reading peoples comments about how moded kuckles are stupid.

yeah - your soo smart and right, i mean watching me or gary or pawlak drive with gangster speed and angle is probly real dumb.

- not that i was a big dog in nopi or anything, but the fact is, in less than ONE year i was in staging at nopi events. i could have never progressed like that with stupid rack spacers.

im just saying that knuckles should not be a starting point when starting to learn to drift.

people are just buying them, because they think it will make them not suck. not many are progressing to them.

Why progress to then and not just get em. that dont make you better. they make it easier for you to learn especially on the fc whch snaps oversteers very easily.

the only thing they do is keep newbies from spinning out which imo is less embarrisng then going side ways at 20 mph.

if you have the money why not?

It's a fact you will learn how to drive your car better on stock angle than with modded spindles, though once you can out drive the car on stock angle you should upgrade.

heres my questions-

1. why would you defend having no steering angle?

2. if you are saying that modified spindles are dumb for a beginner and that oem is better- then who the hell are you and what have you accomplished in your drifting career.?

3. if you think angle is dumb, have you ever driven with a baller/legit set up?

4. i got nothing for four.

Harder learning curve.

Moot question, but I'm someone who could probably drive an under angled and underpowered car better than you can.

No one is saying increasing angle is dumb and I've explained this in my last post. It's a concept that you can't seem to grasp.

Let me quote it again for you because you seem to have missed it the first go 'round.

stock angle on a fc makes me cry and feel super hopeless..
I was barely able to drift my car with no powersteering, stock angle, s5 t2 vlsd, NA power..

Shiitt If I had more angle and powersteering 2 years ago I would not have spun out so many times on the streets and crashed into a guard rail[this is why i have wide rear fenders] that one time when I started out hahahah.. I had to learn how to drift the hard way.. I managed to pull off some okay drifts more and more.
As soon as I swapped in a PS rack and pump with the tie rod spacers, alignment, and welded diff , drifting became 100x easier

I also say drift off !

Lol, you guys are predictable, but if Dan wants to question the validity of my answers to his questions based on his single moot question I'm sure he'd have no problem driving up to NJ. Otherwise disprove my response with intelligence rather than a BS "you never did so you don't know" argument.

ha. ive traveled farther than jersey, i actually plan on goin to a clubloose event sometime. lol. any way----

i dont care anymore, i feel retarded that i let it get to me.

drifting is about fun, if you wanna wine about doing gay **** and doing it the hard way, maybe auto cross and roller blading would better suit you.

if you dont approve of having sweet angle, thats blows my mind.

i feel that a new guy would feel a lot better about himself if he doesnt just spin out every turn.- that isnt fun. having fun is pretty fun, having sweet angle and doing burnouts at 1mph is pretty fun. going really fast with agressive switch backs, running tons of angle is pretty fun too.

so you if think modified spindles are dumb, then dont buy them. if you like to drift and want to have fun plus you have some extra cash, get some modified spindles from somewhere and go show those 240s how much sweeter rx7s are.

can you use the stock tie rods or what aftermarket tie rods do you use?

Yeh stock tie rods are fine if they are still the right length. I like to make the knuckles to suit stock tie rods, that way they are cheap and reliable.

all stock everything is fine for the way my modified spindles are. my girl's had hers done for over 2 years now and her car dominates parking lots.

baller *** fc3sgary may or may not be sporting all OEM steering components with the exception of my modded kucks.

my set up is a lil different.
