open na diff cost free
haveing it welded cost $20-30?
well I dont have any understeering problems with my welded like most ppl talk about.. I kept up with a R6 bike on a freeway on ramp lol and his knee was on the ground, it looked amazing in real life than television lol.
Maybe welded is just fine for me?

the only way your car kept up with an R6 is if he wasnt racing you.
Even an average bike is wayyyy faster than 99% of the cars on here.
Welded is a cheap half solution, sure it works, but its like..."so what if i banged a dude! A mouth is a mouth!"
Get a real LSD or shim the stock one, LSD and suspension are some areas where cheaping out isnt a good plan.

Search noob.
Only surefire way to tell is to crack the pumpkin.
You can get away with doing a wheel test. Put the *** of the car in the air like lil kim and grab a handfull of wheel. Spin the wheel. Does the opposite wheel spin in the same direction? If so, you have a working lsd. If not, it's probably an open. This is the time where you question the retard that swapped the lsd rear out with an open and pop the pumpkin just the make sure it's not just a worn out clutch type......
From recent experience, it's FAR cheaper to buy a used n/a lsd than to rebuild a blown one.
This is what dk's car sounds like:

So i spent 30 minutes taking the diff apart and soaking it in purple power. It's sitting in my car right now...still in the bucket in like 50 billion peices. I got tired of smelling f-ing gear oil so i let the **** sit and called it a day.
Tomorrow, i'm cleaning everything off, laying out my parts, my assembly lube and cutting up some cans with the camera handy.
