Ok guys ive finally decided to get some **** done and get to work on my car. i figure a build thread might give me alittle motivation to keep going. heres some pictures of it from when i first got it to the way it sits now...

and am i wrong but is there no fan on the radiator at all?

 

its a very small fan

 

no theres one on there. its an electric fan, small but gets the job done.

 

i had a guy at a drift event run an NA with an open header that dumped right behind the front wheel, sounded redic bouncin off the limiter. good luck

this thing looks pretty good, front needs to be lower though. good luck with your build.

 

you should consider getting a stock clutch fan.

does a much better job than any e-fan, especially in a drifting situation

i had a stock clutch fan on there and it was overheating with it on, threw the e fan on and golden. dont plan on keeping the rotary anyway, but we will save that for another post

 

Nice FC, what are the future plans?I got dumped header on my 88 NA and it sounds great and is nowhere near as loud as my buddy's Cobra.

agreed. even on the track it got old after the first 30 seconds. sounded like a whining baby on speed

Why you getting rid of it

 

Got some small updates. didnt get to start on the body work like i wanted to cause of the cold weather and the fact that i started to hear really bad crunching and grinding coming from my driver side wheel hub. started ripping her apart today, bearing was completely done. its whatever good excuse to finally get my dtss in

brake rotor is really bad and needs to be replaced along with new pads

started to clean the hub alittle bit, i think it will turn out decent!

new bearings and dtss. rotors and pads are up in the air. trying to decide on blanks or drilled and slotted. the pads im not sure about either...





i have to wait till tomorrow to use the press, not going to try and hammer them in.
thats it till tomorrow...

 

Get blanks if you daily the car.

 

its a daily as of right now but eventually it will be a full on track car. im thinking blanks and new pads will lock just as good.

 

Actually I serviced jet aircraft for Delta Airlines for 2 years so yes I do suffer from hearing loss in my left ear.

Cold weather? Dude we live in Florida! And he didn't get his car from a junkyard believe it or not

 

haha he wasnt talking about my car. if you read instead of just looking at pictures the kid above me has a junyard saved 7 he picked up for 500 bucks. oh and you cant use body filler in cold temp.
