i'll dig up some pics of the front end.

it's time to finally start working on this thing again and get it ready for next year. i ended up getting a new chassis to replace the old one since it's seen too much abuse. i picked up a 1986 base model WITHOUT sunroof! It has 67k original miles and looks like it drove out of a 1986 dealer showroom.

interior pics. if anyone wants ANYTHING from the interior hit me up. I won't be reusing any of it. it's all pretty much perfect. seats had seat covers and so did the steering wheel.

In the meantime I've been tearing down my old car.

So far i've removed most of the engine stuffs and the rear subframe.

I'll be doing a lot more work to the new chassis.

dual calipers, 1900mm GT wing, evo brembos(with dual rears), shaved engine bay, wilwood or tilton pedal assembly, custom flca for lots more angle, and possibly a fuel cell of sorts.

Do you have any mods to counteract fuel starvation at speed? I know people usually use surge tanks, but I didn't see anything in your setup list.

Definitely will! I got all my calipers and other parts needed for mock up so I should have something soon.

Nothing for fuel stuff. Just a walbro in the stock tank. I have gotten slosh before if the tank is low, so I just make sure to keep it topped off. Thought about getting a small fuel cell for next year but we'll see how funds go.

Another night worth of progress.

Motor is finally out. A few more things to take out from the interior and it'll be going to the new owner. SOOOOO nice having a removable core support. Motor took 30 minutes to take out. And half that time was spent figuring out what song to play while pulling the motor.

Also got me an upgrayedd. Evo Brembos. Extra pair for the rear on the dual caliper setup. Now to order that Wilwood pedal setup and delete the brake booster/master cylinder uglies.

to run the evo rotors you need brackets to raise the caliper higher.
