you know i didn't even pay attention to which one he was using but they didn't come out all crappy and undercut like some other cages I've seen so thats good at least

guess who's got updatessssss
finally quit dicking around with my other cars and got serious about this piece. went engine shopping
the place had 1 s5 13b left which they originally said was good compression. upon closer inspection found that to be BS due to stuck apex seals/ busted coolant seal. sketch *** engine importers man
since i was planning on rebuilding anyways i talked the price down to what i thought was fair and picked it up. engine all loaded with some help from mochi, the teacup palmeranian
got it back and immediately tore into it with the help of john vargas, rotary superhero
everything was actually in real good shape till we found this on the front cover mehhh. all in all im pretty satisfied tho i got off easy seeing that all the housings were straight and it could have been much worse. new front cover is cheap #aintshook
oh yeah and also ended up grabbing this BW 7670 in mint condition for a steal. 1.05 A/R

well guys i have some good news and some bad news. heres the bad news first:
the financial and mental stress of owning 3 modified cars has been getting pretty overwhelming lately, especially after finding out the coolant seals on my red car have finally gone. everything that has been happening has caused me to rethink things a bit and be real with myself. even if i do finish this car, i dont have a truck or trailer to tow it to events and probably would not be able to maintain it when something breaks. its just not a viable option in my life right now and its taking up a lot of excess money and time that I'm already tight on because of my other 2 cars. so its time to let this thing go. its a bummer that i won't be able to finish this and drive it but there will always be time to build another car later in life once i live on my own and have space. I'm hoping to pass on an awesome shell with tons of potential to someone else. i have made a for sale thread for the car here:

now for the GOOD NEWS:
the turbo motor i recently purchased and started building for the project car is now going in my red car to replace the NA with bad coolant seals. i will be using all the engine parts i currently have including the BW turbo, turblown manifold, FFE rails etc. i thought about selling this car too but couldn't bring myself to do it. i think this is a better alternative since the rest of the car is done and the only thing its lacking has been power. oh yeah and the URAS kit is going on it too..
so from here on out, this thread is going to be strictly updates on my red car so if you guys dont hate me/still care at all feel free to check it out
