I am currently running the Porterfield R4-S on my car. They have nice initial bite, havnt noticed any fade, but do give off a fair amount of brake dust.

I'm going to try hawk hps on all four corners with some slotted front rotors and brembo oe rears.

My **** squeels terribly and my pads ate my front rotors to ****. Bummer. Really puts a damper on a few of the things i wanted to do however, brakes are pretty ******* important. They are actually getting weaker every day. I used to be able to stop using engine braking and the edge of my big toe. Now it's more of the ball of my foot and every day i have to use more and more pressure. ******* sucks.

If the hawks dont work for me, it's either because my hydro install is going to blow dicks or i just blow dicks. Alot of ppl swear by em so i see no reason why they shouldn't be good for me, you or anyone else with a street car who likes to slide or a track **** that doesn't need overdone 8 pot fronts and 4 pot rears with 16" 2pc rotors....

Tell Turbo II Rotor to stop spreading Crisco on your rotors and you may be able to stop a touch better.

I'm sure he'd much rather stab holes in my primary to secondary fuel rail line.

I probably didn't grease the pins the pads slide on and they weren't returning fully but there is for SURE a stepped lip on both of my front rotors that wasn't there when i rebuilt my brakes. It just took a few months for that to catch up to me. Snow, road salt, sand.....Bleh. My own dumbass fault.

I used to have Hawk HP with Brembo rotors on my FD. No complaints there. I have changed them out for a set of RacingBrake rotors and Racing Brake ET800 pads. I will tell you how those go after I use them.

On my FC I have EBC Red Stuff pads on Brembo rotors. No complaints with them either. I have noticed a little bit more brake fade with the EBC than Hawk, but not enough to matter. I am switching that system out (Rotors and Pads are pretty much at the end of their trackable lives) I am putting in Stoptech rotors and Hawk HP+ Pads.

With both my FD and FC I use Stock calipers. I have yet to run into the situation where they weren't good enough, but as a side note I have rebuilt all the calipers on both cars within the last year.

^^ The Brembos I had on the FD were drilled and slotted. The Brembos on the FC are OEM replacement. The Stoptechs I am going to run on the FC are drilled and slotted.

^^ Pretty soon. Either end of this month or the beginning of March. I need to have everything buttoned up by April.

OEM in the back, Hawks in the front. I don't use my E-brake often though. My rear brakes don't heat up as fast as the fronts so I don't know if it even matters.
