Nice, that looks like a great facility. What track are you drifting? the tracks look fun
Its hard to see if its big enough but the little kart track looks like its got loads of good corners. We drift a few kart tracks over here in the Uk and they are brilliant fun.

No, its the skid pad. I've only heard of them using the go-kart track once.

The Wilson Circuit (Kart Track) is used twice a year for cars. Sadly, it is for time trials and not drifting. The track is much to narrow to use for drifting (it is a little tight in a Kart sometimes).

I will be attending the second time trial which is this Sunday (8/10/08).

If anybody else is attending the drifting on Saturday, check out the Kart track while you are there! They are having open track rental Karts on saturday from 3:00pm to 8:00 pm. It is like 20$ for the first 10 mins, then $15 for any additional 10 min sessions. These are real racing Kart chassis with some decent horsepower (47 mph!!).

See you guys up there sometime!

They USED to use the kart track a few years ago but have since stopped since the grass was getting torn up lol. It was a slow track to drift. I got the opportunity to watch 2 PROS that ran FC's back in the day at Hyperfest there in 03.

So Me and Kinch were there today! I had problems with the car stumbling almost like a misfire after each run except my last 2. I had to stop for 15-20 min after each run. I only got about 8-10 runs in because of it. Ill figure that out later.

Anyways, I totally sucked ***, kept spinning the car. I was fighting the wheel instead of just letting the front do the work for me. I did improve but not as much as I Wanted to. So I guess its off to the lots again I go. Today was the first day I ran the FC on an actual course and not open area.

I know, but I need power to initiate and hold the drift.

But I'm doing DTSS elims, and Strut Bars as soon as my engine is done. Then saving up for coilovers during the winter ;D

Depends if I can find a co-driver.

How many cars usually show up?
