torn between Mitty and Skyway run. Mitty would be real fun to revisit Road Atlanta and it puts me closer to home...Skyway would just be a really fun drive AND I get to sleep in ... choices...

Doing a last minute engine swap in my fc, hopefully it's together & reliable in time. Otherwise, I'll be showing up in a Magnum.. I spent most of my time on my fd over the winter & it's spewing oil now, so no chance on that haha I don't want to have to bum rides through the Gap if I can't bring a 7

I'm up for an organized drive. This will be my first DGRR so I'll let the experienced peeps chime in on this one and organize.

Well, This is what I'm thinking about doing on Friday.... Again, this is NOT part of the event.. just my personal drive for Friday.. You guys can follow this map and do it on your own.
Link to Google Map = http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...97435&t=h&z=11
A = NVNC
B = Fontana Dam
Distance = Approx. 137 miles
This will cover pretty much the best roads in the country... Part of 'Hell Bender - US28', Skyway with 5000ft elevation change, and finish towards the end with 'Tail of the Dragon' and best part of 'Hell Bender'.
I was going to leave around 8AM and get to the Dam around 12:45PM... Early 30 min to an hour lunch around 11AM.
We'll stop 2-3 times on the Skyway... for 5-15min each.
Again, this isn't set in stone as I have to see how much I get done on thursday and if volunteers are ok with me doing this..
