Thanks for the map pic SureShot.

OK, I'm going to throw out my best suggestion here:

How about we meet in the parking lot at Jeffrey's?

In the pic above, I-85N, Exit 111; Turn Right onto Lawrenceville Suwanee Rd.; Turn Left at 1st traffic light; Jeffrey's Sports Bar is down on the right, just past Publix Shopping Center.

Meet in the parking lot with your food between 1:00 & 1:30PM on Friday, April 7, 2006. You can stop at any of the fast food places listed on the Pic map above, take your restroom breaks at whatever place you pick up your food. This way we won't have to cater to different food choices and Jeffrey's is a good place to leave from to all enter the interstate and stick together for the caravan up to Robbinsville. Publix subs is one good choice and Publix if right there for last restroom stop before getting on the road. I think we should try to leave no later than 2:00PM.

We should keep in touch with 2-way radios. Our group usually monitors channel 7 when we are driving the RX-7 caravans. Also if you want to exchange cell numbers just PM with with your cell and 1st name. Of course cell phones won't work once we are at the Gap.

Jeremy, does this sounds OK, since you were the one heading this up? Just wanted to get something on here to work with.

Any reason for 7 instead of 6? Both allow high power.

I will also be on CB 19.

7 for RX-7. We used it way before 8's ever came out.

The FCC limits 8 & above to low power. Now it all makes sense.

Sureshot switching to FRS channel 7, over..

Hey guys. I am new to this forum. I just purchased my second RX-7 a couple of weeks ago and may have time to check this thing out this weekend. Is there anyone who has to work on Friday and is headed up that night or early Saturday morning?

In case anyone cares, I'll be driving from Tampa to Atlanta on Thursday, then meeting up with herblenny and the Alabama and Tennessee groups in at 11:30 in Chattanooga for lunch at Golden Corall.

From there, we'll drive through the Dragon to be at Fontana Village by 5:00.

If you'd like to meet up on Friday morning in the Mariette area around 9:00 for the run up 75 to Chattanooga, please let me know.

Directions: Golden Corral is behind Hamilton Place. To get there, coming in on I-75, at exit 3A, take ramp (Right) onto SR-320 (E. Brainerd Rd). 1.1 miles down, turn Left (North) onto Gunbarrel Rd. Golden Corral is 0.7 miles down on the right side of the road.
