How loud is the Corksport cat back?

would it be loud only when the car is warming up or would it be loud enough that cops can over heard when the car is running and they will pull you over right away?

Depends on what you're running it on. I won't lie to you, it's probably one of the loudest out there. On a turbo car with a cat it's not bad, but I wouldn't run it on an open exhaust without a powerful muffler replacing the cat.

I run it with an RB DP and nothing else and it's efing loud! toss a borla XR1 in as a midpipe and you should get some nice deep tones without getting too loud.

There's a couple of videos of the exhaust on youtube. I have one on my FC and absolutely love it. I'm going to pick one up for FD pretty soon here!

Here are two videos of my old FCs running corksport. My new FD will have it soon and I will put up a video of that as well.

Sorry for the crappy quality 87 n/a 5 year old video with horrible camera man following

From when I had my FC.

After I put on a RB header and presilencer, it mellowed the sound, but was still really loud.

If you do buy it, put in a good midpipe muffler, that's better than RB's.

It is loud, but it is SO much lighter than the RB. I recently took if off my daily and traded for a RB cat-back and I am kicking myself. My car is just not as fun now, It seems to me from my butt dyno that my car had a little more power with the CS. I still have it on my 1/2 bridge NA. It is as loud as you can possibly imagine for a street car, I love it. It looks great as well, CS ftw

Before I had my straight pipe, I had a hollowed cat without the silencer insert. It wasn't so bad, but the neighbors complained.

I think a good cat and and the CS catback would make a good sound, maybe a modified silencer would help, too.

Its loud as ****. I remember there was one night when I got pulled over twice in an hour just because of it. I used to be able to drive by car dealerships and set off all the alarms along the street. Trust me, it is ******* loud.

Does anyone have any clips of an FD with full 3" turboback to a corksport muffler. I know you guys have video of it on your website, but is that with a full exhaust system or still the stock downpipe and main cat?

I have a 2.5" downpipe, a 2 1/4" cat, and corksport exhaust with the silencer. The system isn't too loud with the silencer in. I can really only hear the turbo sucking in air, thats about it. I'll try and get a video up asap.

I am looking to put it on a Vert that already has a RB header and pre-silencer. Soes the silencing cone make a big difference to how loud it is? I like the sound from what I have heard but want it a little quieter sometimes when out riding with my wife with the top down.

does the CS catback come with silencer or does the silencer you guys offer on the site fit this exhaust?
