ok why it's okay for you to whore your personal "business" in your signature on the forum, but not everyone else.

and as far as your signiture this is your idea of following the rules:shocking:

Show my where I am selling on my site?

I (unlike Kevin), did not spit on the Rotary community and left all my reference material up.

Yes it is. Being genuine and helping people out seems to be as well. I would venture to say that the number of people asking retared questions is 400% the amount of people giving sound answers. At least in the 2nd gen section

See... but I did sorta cheat. Now... NOW I understand why you were sort of a jerk to me when I complained about not linking to that page from the site that you link from everywhere on the forum. Don't worry I know you don't remember. It was '05.

You mention your customers here..

Just a few comments from what our customers have emailed or posted about us:

I recently purchased a wiper relay switch from you. I pulled the wiper unit
out, soldered the new relay in and put the unit back in and works perfectly.

I would like to thank you for your expeditious response in shipping the part to
me. The instructions online were very helpful. Black Dragon Automotive wanted
about $750 for a brand new unit, and you saved me over $700. I have already
recommended you to my friends who also own RX-7s.

Keep up the good work!

Mark,
Thank you for getting the switch done and back to me so quickly. Your
attention to my earlier emails and the quality of work speaks to your
professionalism. Any work I need, that you can provide, on my RX7 will
come your way. Being a small business owner myself I know the
importance of good customer service - that's why I give you and Mazdamark an
OUTSTANDING!

Thanks again,
Mike Lowry

Mark,

I just wanted to briefly and personally thank you for offering the rebuilt wiper switches. I recently bought one for my 1988 RX-7 convertable, and last night got caught in one heck of a set of storms, for the first time with this car. though I knew everything worked when I installed the switch, last night was the ultimate test, and as I was driving home, I thought how much I appreciate the fact that you offer this service and rebuilt parts.

Thanks a million!

Fast shipping, great product. Bought the wiper relays, followed the simple instructions. The wipers work great. Thanks Icemark.

dr.jones63

Once again Mazda Mark has exceded my expectations. I sent a logicon in to him for a rebuild because it only worked on vent. The turn around was less than a week door to door and it works perfect. I would recomend anyone wanting a good working logicon to use his service. His customer service is the best.

dr.jones63

Once again Icemark deliverers. I had a rear wiper switch that had two hot wires no ground and was hot even with the switch in the off position. Kept blowing fuses. FIXED

I also had a warning light display that didn't light up when I placed the key on and haad a flickering clock. Mark rebuilt it and replaced the window with the dark view window. Works and looks cool. FIXED

Thank's Mark, your truly an asset to the RX7 community. Your prices are very resonable, turnaround time is incredible. I put a recept in the owners manual pouch because if I ever sell it shows that the repaired components are better than new. Why buy fom a stranger on ebay and have to deal with the same problems that RX7's are prone to and take a risk of not getting what you pay for.

dr.jones63

Greeting Mark,

I received the switch over the weekend. You sir, run a first class
business. The products are as advertised and shipped in a timely
fashion.
This is in stark contrast to the legion of alleged Rx-7 related service
providers who are quite adept at collecting money, but whose goods and
services are rarely good or of service. At any rate, when you come
down to SevenStock8, look me up at the eveningā€™s refreshment stand (the
Hiltonā€™s bar) and Iā€™ll buy the first round or two.

Thanks again for checking the switch out and shipping it back.

Marcus Fitzhugh

I have WIPERS again! Thanks to...... ICEMARK!!!!!!!

YAY!
For the first time ever my wipers work in EVERY setting!!!!

Just like to give some positive feedback and recommend his service.

My clutch went out a couple months ago and the mechanic some how ruined my wiper switch. The wipers were stuck on full speed in any setting even off.

Well after a couple storms without wipers and being scared almost to death because I was on the highway doing 65 and couldn't see I decided to get it rebuilt by him.
Digi7ech

Might want to delete that section of the site too... No personal quams, but lets be real.

Spit in the face?????

what do we call what the mods have been doing? Should it include the word "lube" in it?

He specifically posted that he did not want this information to be posted anywhere else but the RX7club. If he found that it was posted ANYWHERE else he'd pull it. You really think he wouldn't pull it after what the Moderators did?

NJGreenBudd 02-27-08 10:44 PM

I'd just like to say that i was caught up in the moment and I don't actually want to leave this for good. I do think that it sucks Kevin is gone but I also realize there's a lot fo good info here and at this point in time I am hoping to see this site turn over a new leaf. i can't give up yet i guess.

So ah.......... hows that fc3c of yours down in fl? I SMELL LIES!!!!!!!!!!! I SMELL A RAT!!!!!!!

Hmm you posted a link to a page that has been gone for months... did you mean the page that says, I now longer rebuild parts? That would be this one:

And I have no idea what you mean about linking pages... but whatever.

RRTEC 02-27-08 10:51 PM

Fairly recent change..... But it is good that the Mods ARE NOW following the rules too.

Yep, he spit in the face of every rotary owner out there when he took it down because he got his panties in a bunch about not being able to break the forum rules anymore.

November, I stopped rebuilding parts... but Kevin said that I screwed him on that too and attacked me personally saying that I owed him... despite all the free rebuilt parts I had sent him in the past.

But let me ask you, since you are a welcome member here, have you had any problem with the mods stopping you from selling parts, since I know you are unloading a bunch right now.

I was warned about my "practices".. I complied with the forum rules. But I am concerned about the future of the forum. And how it's rules will affect me...lol

where's your HOW-TO for rebuilding wiper switches? since you don't sell them anymore. I'm sure it will be hosted forever and nobody will ever do anything bad towards you. At least not enough for you to punish everyone.

So what is the reason for the Ban?

I know the question breaks the forum rules about asking "why, how,etc.,etc." about ppl that have been banned but it seems like it's about money first, the good of the community second, the mutual respect for someone who brings ppl to the forum third.

But you are selling just fine, right?

See that is what people that are raging are not getting. It doesn't effect members other than they might have to explain a little... but that would be it.

Same place it always has been:

http://www.mazdamark.com/DIY_wiper_repair.htm

Hasn't changed, and the link has been posted on countless pages here as well as other forum pages... and I think even Kevins, unless he has taken down all the links for the things I helped him with in the past.

And I guess you have not read any of the pages here if you are asking for the reason for Kevins ban for a week, as it was covered quite a few times in this thread.

They might have to board a plane? ;)

That's why I made the analogy to at worst the board becoming a ls1 powered rx7club.com where the only actual detraction people can find is that it lost it's soul, but some people are ok with that. It'll get a new one, the problem is... it will get an IB one, and people are afraid of that.

The problem is some of the rules are vague and I specifically remember Kevin ASKING the mods/owners about rules and not getting a reponse.

the RTEKs owner had the same problem. He emailed and asked about up a small sig that showed he sold RTEKs. No spamming no harrasing members to buy it. He was given a warning and told he could post his sig in the RTEK tuning section when he is the owner/seller of Rtek.

Its not like he is making 30 thousand dollars.

The vendors has to sell 12,000 in profits just to break even from advertising for a year
WTF IS IB thinking?

Yeah..it does. Members are leaving because of whats unfair.
I remember printing out Kevins Turbo II swap write-up and spending late nights using it as a guide and it helped me a lot.

So yeah losing one member does effect the members.

In the 1800's and 1900's slaves broke the rules...cause maybe the rules were unfair.

If it isn't a big deal than why are the rules being enforced so hardcore

kontakt 02-27-08 11:18 PM

rogrx7 it's only 1000 for the big package, it's 200 to sell your stuff. That means you have to get 200/mo in profits. That means selling at a larger margin, which means prices go up. It isn't good for people buying or selling those parts. The people it is good for, however (other than IB) are the people who are getting undercut on items that they are selling fairly cheap themselves. I'm not concerned with those people, but I can tell you that those people are.

It does cut out a decent chunk of the cheap used parts market that help us get our cars on the road, but if people have parts they're going to sell them. We still know who these guys are, they'll still post stuff up wherever it's free, and we will find them. It sucks that this site will lose being the collection of that market that it once was; striving instead to have larger more "reputable" dealers covering or trying to the same market that they filled.
